Our mission
We are a young French association working to repopulate reefs damaged by human activity. Throughout the world, the natural habitats of reef fish are threatened by coastal urbanisation.
That’s why our team of engineers wants to design and develop ecological compensation solutions for urbanized reefs. Working alongside research institutes and stakeholders in the field, we define the eco-engineering operations best suited to the local environment.
Today, we are implementing our first field project for the preservation of coastal fish in the UAE and Zanzibar.
A few figures on reef fish.
Fish is the main source of protein for 800 millions of people (1).
Approximately 80% of the 13,200 known species of marine fish are coastal, with over 4,000 species associated with coral reefs. (2).
In 2100, 20 to 50% of fish stocks from Pacific reefs and associated ecosystems could decrease.(3).
